The idea for this event came about when Clarissa realised that so many school kitchens and halls sit out of use at the heart of so many communities. As a way of bringing the community together over the love of food and encouraging the children to be very much part of it we hope that this event will prove very popular, and hope that the idea may catch on in other schools as an exciting way of raising funds for the school as a whole.
All proceeds from the night will go to the library fund and FOBS (friends of Burnham Market School)
Years 5 & 6 will be designing tickets, posters, table decorations and helping transform the hall on the night, by setting tables and waiting tables. An excellent experience for the children.
